Exploring the arctic circle

We headed directly to the hostel to drop our stuff there. After half an hour we have been back outside exploring the city. Nearby we had one of the very few sights of Kiruna: Kiruna Kyrka.

Besides of the church the snowy narrow streets have been nice too. After walking around for several hours, including eating ice cream, we went back to our hostel for dinner.

It’s amazing to see the sun go down at half past one and experience total darkness around half past two.

We went out in the night again, but didn’t get lucky to see northern lights.
