Das NOLLNING (das “Nullen”) beschreibt eine schwedische Tradition welche die Neuankömmlinge (bei Schulwechsel oder dem Start in das Hochschulleben) “auf Null setzt”. Sie sollen so auf die neuen Begebenheiten und Leute eingestellt werden. Während des “Nullens” stehen allerlei lustige und verrückte Spiele auf dem Plan. Ziel ist es möglichst viele Mitstudenten kennen und schätzen zu lernen. Das klappt wunderbar!

Das “Gemeinschaftsgefühl” wird noch verstärkt durch eine lila Alienflagge die dem Troß von Austauschstudenten vorraus getragen wird. (Jeder schwedische Fachbereich hat ebenso seine Flagge).

The Nolling is a swedish tradition like the Freshmens-Week. You’re doing funny games and get to now each other really fast. It’s a blast!

You get socialiced so fast, that youre part of a new formed community at the end of the day. The Xchance students are united under an Alienstandard.
